Relaxing Fishing Trip
We had another great, relaxing fishing trip to Ontario and stayed at the very charming Dock View Splendour cottage on Lake Opinicon. The main house and bunkie were very nice and there was plenty of dock space for our 3 boats. As always, Robin was a great host and very responsive. Even the bass fishing was great this year.

Lake Opinicon Stay
Our group of 6 adults and 4 kids stayed here comfortably for a week! The layout was perfect for 3 separate families. We appreciated that that the cottage was fully equipped and safe for young kids, including gates on the deck. It is spacious and in a great location. Would love to visit again!
Great cottage for a big group
We had a great extended family get-together. Lots of space. Separate bunk house was great for the kids. Beautiful views off the deck. Lovely open concept living space.
Magnificent
Dock View Splendour cottage was a piece of paradise! Perfect for our large group, excellent swimming, canoeing, with stunning sunsets at the end of each day. Couldn’t have asked for more. A 5 star location.
Amazing Stay
This home was beautiful and very spacious! We came with the whole family: my husband, my mom & dad, my sister & her husband with their young children (5 & 7), and my other sister. The separate bunkie was absolutely perfect for my sister and her family and the rest of us in the main house. The living area, kitchen, and dining area is a very open floor plan with plenty of room for us all. The fishing was fantastic at this lake as we are a big large mouth bass family. The stairs going to the dock were not steep at all as opposed to a lot of cabins on these lakes. The yard is extremely spacious also. There’s plenty of parking (we had 3 trucks and a Subaru). There are 2 docks for this property. A large one (that you see in the photos) and a smaller long dock that is right off the bunkie.
Dockview Splendour
We had such an amazing stay at Dockview Splendour, it is such an incredible spot and Lake Opinicon is such a lovely lake! We are definitely thinking that we would like to make this a yearly trip for us all!
