Sunset Delight lives up to its name
We just got back from this delightful cottage on Labour Day weekend. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I loved the location - so easy to walk into the village of Westport for supplies or a meal out. Not to mention that the winery is just up the hill. We may have gone a few times … The cottage itself was clean and had everything we needed/wanted - well equipped kitchen, fans, decent shower, good wifi, nice TV, games, kayaks with life jackets, lovely deck with new bbq, etc. One thing that worked really well for us was the lot itself. We had our elderly parents for a visit and the ground is level from parking spot to the water. No stairs. Also loved the fire pit right beside the water where we admired many sunsets. So many sky and fire photos on my phone! The beach is within walking distance as well. My daughter and I passed through it to follow the Rideau trail up to Old Bob’s Lookout to see the lake from above. It took approximately 45 min. each way. Thank you Robin for answering my questions and for being a great host.

Relaxing Retreat
We had an amazing getaway at Sunset Delight. The swimming was phenomenal! We spent a great deal of our time in or on the lake. It is a great kayaking and paddle board spot. My daughter was able to catch many bass right from the dock. We ate every meal on the beautiful deck overlooking the water. Despite heat warnings, the temperature in and around the cottage were very comfortable. The cottage was well equipped with everything we need to cook. The second fridge was ideal for drinks. All beds were comfortable and the fans made sleeping easy. It was an easy walk to town. I am definitely looking forward to returning next summer!

Sunset Delight
We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Delight cottage very much. The cottage is clean and well-equipped and the waterfront is lovely - water clear and almost weed-free. The neighbours are friendly and the visit to the winery always a pleasure. We like the location - close to the town and the public beach.

Just like our experience working with Robin last year, we were extremely pleased. He is knowledgeable, kind, and quick to respond to inquiries. We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful spot!
Sunset Delight
This fully equipped cottage is an absolute delight. My family rented it for a week and were able to swim every day, kayak and enjoy evening campfires. It was a very peaceful holiday but when other activity was preferred we went in to Westport or the winery which is just over the hill literally. We are booking for two weeks next summer we hope. Great family vacation!
