Early summer water levels may partially cover the sand.

Conveniently located near Highway 15, roughly halfway between Toronto and Montreal, approximately 40 minutes from the US border, and just over an hour from Ottawa.
While not located on the Rideau Canal itself, the Rideau Lakes region is nearby for exploring, dining, golf, boating, and seasonal events.

Spacious Cottage, Secluded Location
We couldn't be happier with our stay at this cottage. We are two families with a combined 10 people, including 6 kids between 6-11 years old, the the cottage was big enough to comfortably accommodate all of us. The water is a great depth for kids to play, and the boat house was well stocked with a canoe, kayaks and life jackets. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware, utensils and dishes - we didn't even need to open two boxes of supplies that we brought. Now we know what to pack for next year... which is great because we will definitely be coming again!

We spent a week at this beautiful property and were very impressed. Private, with a nice beach and a very quiet lake. The interior is spacious with lots of sitting room and an amazing view of the lake. All of the bedrooms are clean with large windows. The kitchen and dinning area are large and airy. We rented a small fishing boat from Norris' and they delivered right to the doc. The hike back up to the cottage from the beach would be intense for anyone not in relative shape. We will be back!

Great, remote cottage for vacation for a large group
Two levels, each with its own bathroom, perfect for two families. Fully-equipped kitchen. Excellent swimmable beach that was great for little ones. The descent to the beach is fairly steep, but I just looked at it as exercise. Property manager was excellent - came to let us in the boat shed when we couldn't find the key. If we return to the region, we would definitely rent this property again.
Privacy Plus!
No neighbors, Beautiful surroundings. The cottage was very nice with a large kitchen and living room. The lake is nice and quiet, not many lights out on the lake or cottages in your line of site. The fishing was also very productive. Very unique cottage. You get the feeling of being remote even though you are fairly close to town amenities
