Sand Lake Retreat is a newly built luxury waterfront cottage on Sand Lake along the Rideau Canal, offering stunning views, modern design, and a peaceful private setting. With expansive windows throughout the home, the cottage is filled with natural light and showcases beautiful lakefront scenery from nearly every room.
Inside the Cottage
The heart of the home features a spacious, sunlit kitchen with high-end appliances, perfect for preparing meals for large groups. The adjacent great room includes a cozy gas fireplace and panoramic lake views, creating a welcoming space to relax and gather.
Downstairs, a large rec room with a second gas fireplace offers entertainment and space for games and lounging.
The cottage comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests with four bedrooms, a bunkie, and two and a half bathrooms.

Just as Described and Perfectly Peaceful
My group had a fantastic stay at this cottage! Everything was exactly as shown in the photos and described in the listing—clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The space was thoughtfully furnished, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. I especially appreciated how quiet and peaceful the surroundings were, making it a perfect escape. It’s always refreshing when a place lives up to expectations, and this one absolutely did. Would happily return and highly recommend to anyone looking for a stress-free getaway!
Annual Group Fishing Trip 2024
Our group of 10 guys thoroughly enjoyed the 2024 Sand Lake Retreat stay in late July. The home is new, large and well equipped. The home overlooks a quiet cove on Sand Lake and is very secluded. Everything was great including the booking, check-in/out process and communication from property manager, Robin.
Beautiful cottage, beautiful location!
My group and I absolutely LOVED this cottage and can’t wait to go back. Everything was provided besides bedsheets which is totally okay for us because most of us tend to bring linens with us anyways. The cottage was very spacious and located in a quiet and peaceful area by the water. We collectively agreed that this would be the cottage we rent every year if Robin has us. Thanks robin!!! We created unforgettable memories and can’t wait tocreate more at Sandlake Retreat :)
