Ideal for extended families and group gatherings, this newly renovated retreat offers exceptional space, privacy, and easy access to the Rideau Canal and the Rideau Lakes Region.

The property features two separate three-bedroom cottages, providing a total of six bedrooms, two full kitchens, and two full bathrooms. This flexible layout allows large groups to enjoy time together while still having room to spread out comfortably.

Comfort & Amenities

Wi-Fi, smart TVs, air conditioning, a propane BBQ, one canoe, two kayaks, and a rowboat are all included for guest use.

The property comfortably sleeps 20+ guests. The large, flat grounds can also accommodate tents, trailers, or campers for additional guests with prior approval and an extra fee.

Hoverland is located in the town of Portland, roughly halfway between Toronto and Montreal, about 45 minutes from the Canada–US border and approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Ottawa. Portland is a popular lakeside village with a scenic waterfront, restaurants, groceries, and seasonal events including the well-known Skate the Lake festival.

The surrounding Rideau Lakes Region offers outstanding boating, fishing, swimming, and water sports, with the ability to lock through the historic Rideau Canal to explore connected lakes and charming waterfront towns. Nearby Westport provides additional shopping, dining, golf courses, boat tours, and local attractions.
