Never Disappointed

We have rented cottages with Robin for many years and always a great experience. Waters Edge upholds that tradition. Very well supplied , every thing in working order and very clean. The cottage is in a good location with excellent acces to the lake for the grand parents. The fishing was fantastic using one of Robins pontoon boats. And Robin is always close if you need him. Waters Edge will not disappoint.

Great Place in Ideal Loction

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation with friends - so much so that before we left, we booked a week in August next year. (We got lucky that a week ended up available.) This 'cottage' is actually a beautiful home with lots of room, a fantastic property, great amenities and a kitchen that really is well equipped (most are not, even if they say so). Plus, the 'lakeside' property really is lakeside, with a dock and great swimming only steps from the large deck. To top it off, Robin is a great property manager that really takes care of the guests.

First Class Property

We have been coming to Canada for almost 30 years and this property is at the top of our list. It has every amenity possible and very close access to the dock. We hope Water's Edge will be available for many years to come! Robin continues to provide us with excellent properties.

Awesome cottage!

Beautiful, private very well equipped cottage just meters from Clear Lake shoreline. We have experienced the beauty of the Rideau lakes from this cottage over the last five years and every year gets better. Amazing Vacation Rental

We’ve been renting Water’s Edge since 2018. Less like a cottage and more like a magical summer getaway, the house itself is beautiful, comfortable and clean. Right on the water, with easy access for kids who can climb or jump in off the dock into 4’ deep water. We spend so much time swimming. But there’s also a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, and a bbq for cooking easy dinners. And the cute little town of Westport nearby (ok, 25 minutes) to shop and eat delicious foods and ice cream or fudge for a treat. We love staying here and look forward to many more years of doing so. It’s a bonus that Robin, the property manager, found this perfect vacation spot for us and is always helpful if we have any questions. Thanks, Water’s Edge owners, for allowing us to share in your slice of paradise.

Exceeded Expectations

This property turned out to be everything we wanted and more. The pictures don't do it justice. Such a great location on Clear Lake to relax by the water on the patio or the dock, or from indoors if you're escaping the rain or need a break from the sun. All the water playing gear you could want (swim, float, paddle, fish), puzzles, games, books, and a very well equipped kitchen and newer BBQ. For our small group of 3, this was much more space than we needed, but we enjoyed every square inch. Comfortable beds, great ventilation (lots of screen doors and windows), central air worked great the one day we needed it. Washer / dryer and giant clothesline are perks if you're staying a while. Sparkling clean. Highly recommended.

Awesome House on the Lake

To call this a cottage would be a disservice; it's a beautiful house on an exceptional lake. Everything is exactly as pictured and described. The house is complete with everything necessary to enjoy your stay, including Kayaks, a peddle boat and many floatation aids for lounging in the water. The waterfront is 4' deep at the dock, and 8-10' deep at the raft. Perfect for most to swim, but no walk in spot for smaller children.In mid July while we were there the water was a beautiful 79F. The grounds are spacious and clean; There is a fire pit. There are plenty of chairs for outdoor seating, and a terrific BBQ for all your cooking needs. It's in a nice quiet location, with plenty of privacy. We'll be back in 2020!
